Well here we are with only two full days before we are leaving home for a month, and haven't even gotten close to packing... but you wouldn't expect anything less from us now would you?
Here's a rough overview, providing we do get packed in time:
31 August: Leave Frankston after breakfast (because the car will already be packed... yeah, right!)
2 September: Arrive in Mermaid Beach, Queensland. Seven nights at the Turtle Beach Resort, where we'll base ourselves to go off and do; some theme parks, Australia Zoo, beaches, pools, and other touristy stuff.
9 September: Leave the Gold Coast to wander up to Shute Harbour.
12 September: Arrive on Hamilton Island to spend a lazy week in a 2-Bedroom Apartment, doing as much or as little as we please.
19 September: Depart Hamilton Island, then slowly make our way home over the next week, give or take a couple of days (dependent on budget).
